Ceramic clock with pendulum - Mantel "Time flies with butterflies"

Description: This mantel clock with butterly pendulum is decorated with brightly coulured butterflies and the words "Time flies" stamped into the clay. It is cut out by hand from rolled out sheets of off-white, buff earthenware clay. When the clay is leather hard the designs are carved in. Stamps are then used for adding details. Once biscuit fired, the clock is modestly decorated with oxides and colourful glazes to emphasize the natural colour and texture of the clay. 

• The clock is fitted with a high-quality quartz clock movement and requires one AA battery (to power the clock movement and the pendulum), easily accessible at the back of the clock. Battery is not included.
