Description: This small sculpture is handmade using  sheets  of  white  earthenware clay and the main body including the head are thrown on the pottery wheel, deformed and joined together. When the clay is leather hard the design is carved into it. Stamps are then used for adding details. Once biscuit fired, the ceramic statue is modestly decorated with oxides and colourful glazes to emphasize the natural colour and texture of the clay.

  • Each lady is unique, no two pieces are exactly the same.
  • The actual colours of the work may differ slightly due to the different screen settings.

Size:  19cm tall x 15cm wide approx.
