Description: The body of this fish is thrown on the pottery wheel and the fins are cut out from rolled out sheets of off-white earthenware clay. When the clay is leather hard the design is carved into it. Stamps are then used for adding details. Once biscuit fired, the ceramic fish is modestly decorated with oxides and colourful glazes to emphasize the natural colour and texture of the clay. 
 
This ceramic unique fish will make an ideal home warming gift or a special present for any home. The quirky and minimalist design would fit in perfectly with contemporary or traditional decor. It is very popular in bathrooms and nautical themed interior design.
